About Melanie

For as long as Melaine can remember, she has wanted to be a teacher. Through the church, she had her first teaching experience. Then, after graduating from The University of Tennessee in 1990, she spent 14 years of her life teaching in Christian Schools: first in California, then in Arizona, and finally back home in Tennessee.

Since she became a mother ten years ago, it has been her privilege to stay home with her children. Mallory is seventeen years old, while Toby is thirteen years old. Melanie knows God called her to be a teacher and she is thrilled to be using her gifts in homeschooling and working with children through Center Faith Church.

Nothing thrills her heart more than seeing children hide God’s Word in their hearts, except for seeing those children make personal commitments to Christ!
